Newbie to saltwater - 20l nano

[Hello Everyone,

I just wanted to leave a note and introduce myself, I'm from Sherman,TX and I just started my first saltwater tank this weekend. I have run fresh water tanks in the past and just thought I would try salt this time. A co-worker has been a tremendous help in getting my tank going and everything is looking good. My tank is a 20L with 20lbs of live sand and 10lbs of live rock (Fiji/Togan). I'm going through the initial cycle phase and will order 20 more lbs of TBS rock this week.

I have noticed everyone on the forum is well educated on their hobby and seems to be very polite. I hope my experience can be helpful to others and I look forward to maybe trading live goods in the future.

Sincerely,

BT]

[Hi Bill and welcome to the board. One of our club members is from Sherman, and her name is Amanda. It is nice to know when someone local can help out in a pinch.]

[Welcome Bill! I am up in Sherman, so if you need anything let me know. In the meantime it sounds like Corey has you off on a good start!]

[do not be intimidated by our vast knowledge...we just copy and paste from reef central :)

Welcome to the board, and good luck with your new tank. :beerchug:]

I wouldn't say "expert" Matt  , maybe "experienced", or "not noob"

so you've learned a few things now. That is what a few thousand hours on this website will do for a person! I feel like I could start my own fish store now after just a year of being on here.
