New to Texas - Soon to be new to Nano

Hi All,

Just making a quick post to say hello. I recently moved to Texas (September) and have been wanting to build a nano for a while. I'm having a new house built that will be done in early February so I figure what better time to built a setup than with a new house! Right now I am just decided what kind of setup to go with. I am thinking either a 24g Nano Cube or Aquapod. Hoping I can find something used in the next month or two (broke since I bought the house :lol: ). I am sure I will be asking a lot of question soon but right now I am doing all kinds of reading. Look forward to using the wealth of knowledge in this forum.

Welcome to Texas and DFWMAS! I moved to Texas a few years ago from Los Angeles. So where did you move from?

Hi, and welcome. If you miss the mountains from your home state you could always take a nice scenic drive to Arkansas. Granted the mountains aren't quite the same, but it is a beautiful state from what I have seen. I have driven up there a few times and taken a weekend getaway and it is always worth it. The air is truly fresh air and there are many places there worth seeing.

So true about the house! Definitley can afford to live comfortably in Texas.

Jawdubb I have been hearing about the Mountains of Arkansas and will definitely have to take a trip out there. Probably wait until it gets a littlw warmer though. :lol:

I just picked up an Aquapod last week and now I am just trying to get everything in order! I am sure I will have muchos questions soon.
