New to DFWMAS (pics added)

Just wanted to say hello. My wife and I have become members of the club recently, but haven't had the chance to make a meeting yet.

A little background. We are new to reef keeping, but not new to aquariums. We recently sold our two 100 gallon cichlid tanks to make room for our reef tank. It is a 72 inch 135 gallon tank that was not reef ready. We drilled it for dual overflows an built the overflow box. We also built the stand. In the stand is a AGA 55 gallon divided into 3 sections with a Euro-Reef rs 135 skimmer in one. Return in one and refugium in the third. Water, sand and 150 pounds of rock have been in since April 1st. CUC went in 8 days ago.

We look forward to meeting ya'll at some meetings.

Thanks everyone...We are looking forward to meeting ya'll at the meetings.

I am planning to do a build report to include the mistakes we made along the way to hopefully help others that are new to reefing. Maybe I will get to that next weekend.

Hey Bryan and Phyllis I thought your screen name looked familiar. 380living.com. I used to live in Providence on Providence Blvd. up until last June. Welcome to MAS. I think I have talked to you in person before. Didn't you live on Providence Blvd. as well?

Chris,

We have met and talked before. We live on Nantucket about 10 houses down from the club house. Small world!
