Hi All,
Well the wife let me buy a bigger tank so picked up a 100gl and stand from DNA that is RR, but since my current 55gl isn't drilled I'm a little confused. I purchased the plumbing kit that came with the PVC and 2 bulkheads but I realized the tank has 4 holes drilled in it! I also need to drill holes in the stand I guess because there isn't any......ugh! In regards to filtration and plumbing what are my options or rather what would you suggest I should do? Any feedback would be great! [smilie=smile.gif] Thanks!

Looks like 2 and 3 are drain lines probably 1".

! and 4 are going to be your return lines probably 3/4".

You may want to consider running 3 drains and 1 return. If you have any more questions I could help or the guys up at Reef Remedies as well. They have bulkheads.

Let me know if you want to come over and check out the plumbing on my new tank.

Oh, thanks Marco that makes sense. Yeah I will definitely need two more bulkheads so I will see if they have some. As far as return pump what do you think I should get that will do the job?

I'm using a Sicce, but I've heard some good things about the water blaster pumps. It depends on how much flow you want to run through your sump and if you are going to build a manifold so it can run other things as well.

Well mine sounds like a waterfall.
Not sure how to proceed here. Maybe a durso fitting. Heck i dont know.
I have two drain returns in a huge overflow box in the middle back.

First thanks to all those who offered suggestions and help to me I truly appreciate it. I ended up deciding to have the guys at Reef Remedies setup my plumbing and such on my new tank and I'm very pleased with the outcome. Now I just need to figure how to plumb my new frag tank to this! LOL

I was up at the store when they were getting ready to go do the install. Wow it came out great! I'm glad they worked out for you.
