New tank cycling~need a quick refresher!

It has been several years since I had a saltwater tank, and I need to brush up on cycling a new tank. I put in live sand (20 pounds) and about 30 pounds of pre-cured live rock in my 29 gallon bio cube last week. I did a 50% water change this week. Do I keep doing a 25% water change every week for about 6 weeks until all parameters are at 0? When should I start testing the water? If anyone could point me in the right direction, I would appreciate it! Thanks! [smilie=smile.gif]
 
I would start testing the water daily, but stop doing water changes. Let the water cycle till your ammonia and nitrites hit 0, then you can consider water changes. You will only prolong the cycle doing them now.
