New Tangs

I got to new tangs to add to my striped britle tooth tang and they are showing aggression how can I stop it. And my powder brown tang is darting around the tank. Help!

Tangs like to fight if you add new ones. I would separate them and sell them off. They may fight to the death. You can try moving rock work around a lot and keep them thinking they are all in a new tank. What size tank and how much rock?

Tangs always fight like crazy at first... As long as they're close to the same size, it's usually just best to let them sort out the pecking order on their own. They'll usually start getting along after a few days max, unless they're in too small of a tank (which they shouldn't be IMO).

agreed with Mike, and is spot on with my experience of adding new tangs to my tank. tank size is an important factor to include in any posts asking about tang aggression and suitability.
