New Skimmer Help

I have purchased a EuroReef RS80 and I'm in the process of setting it up. Right now I'm just going to put it in my wet dry filter and go with that as I haven't yet finished my sump/fuge. I have simple vinyl tubing used to drain into the "sump", will this be okay for the skimmer or is it best to plumb striaght into the skimmer?

I know that once I get my sump/fuge finished I will be plumbing stragith into the skimmer but I wanted to get the skimmer hooked in ASAP.

From reading your post I am not sure how you are supplying the water to the skimmer. It is ok to us vinyl hose to supply the water to the skimmer from a pump, if that is what you are asking.
 
rs80 is the non-recirculating model that should come with a sedra sp2 3500 pump. It won't be economical to feed it directly since the bubbles are made with a needlewheel that extracts water from the outside such as a sump.
