[I've been taking a number of pictures over the past few days, and got them uploaded today.

First a few of my rock anemones.

"Kiss me!!" or "Feed me!!" should be the name of this first picture.

[Nancy, that came with my 55g last November, but in arranging the LR it was in the very back bottom, virtually out of sight and probably starved to the point of death.

When I was rearranging my rock a few months ago, I found that little gal hanging on for dear life, about the size of a dime and quite faded. I put it right in the front, and watched it grow as it caught food daily during feedings. Plus it finally got to enjoy some light!

It is probably 2" across now, and is really pretty entertaining.

If you'd like a larger copy of that shot, I have a 1024x768 image. I resize stuff for online viewing, but keep my originals. I need to back this stuff up!]

[Here are a few more pictures (Am I killing the dial-up users here?) of a Tiquel Snail (unless you know it by a different name).

[Hey Marc, a suggestion:

You have photoshop, right?

Go to Image--> Levels

you should see a histogram. Slide the left arrow underneath it to just under the beginning of the first hill in the histogram. Do the same to the arrow on the right and the first "hill" on that side.

You'll be amazed at the difference. What this does is set the range of blacks and whites to match your image. Once you do this, and look at the original, you'll notice what looked like a "haze" over the photo is gone. PM/email if you have more questions on this.

T]

[No, I'm still using Paint Shop Pro. I just looked for Histogram, and the two options were Stretch and something else. You can't adjust them at all. And the result wasn't good.

However, thanks for the tip. I'll just have to get better software.]
