New Orange Starfish Need Info

My wife bought an Orange Starfish. It has been hanging out on the return tube pretty much all day. In the last few hours it has moved up the outside of the tube and has 2 legs out of the water. Any info will be very helpful.

Hrmm.. are the legs plump, oval to round in cross section, or more flat? How big is it? Might be a fromia sp, or a linckia sp..

It is flat. The tips of the legs are black. I can post pics tomorrow. At the LFS it was called an "Orange Starfish" We were told it was reef safe and that it would feed on algae and pieces of food that feel on rocks and sand bottom.
 
Sounds like a fromia, but a pic would help.. they are relatively hardy, given a mature tank, according to wwm.
