First you must wait for the tank to finish cycling. I would start with soft corals, like leather corals. Clove polyps. yellow polyps ect. Learn how to keep your water as stable as you can. Temperature, salinity, ph and kh.. Once you have mastered that then move to calcium and magnesium ct. With soft corals you have more room for error, thats why they are good learning corals. It's better to start with just a couple until you have mastered water quality. I cant tell you how much money I tossed in the trash becuase I wanted alot of corals, without mastering water quality and keeping the perams as stable as possible. Reef tanks require only two things, patience and consistancy. I do 10 gallon water change on 110 gallon once a week every week.
Just be patient, read, read, read everything you can on reef tanks. Not all of it will work for you, but you will learn alot of tricks of the trade. Good luck and if you have any questions dont be hesitant to ask. We were all in the same boat once.... "crap, what have I gotten into"
And.. congrats on the new tank. and welcome to DFWMAS
