frend must move.

i will be getting 6 new fish.

2-Blue Hippo Tang-4/5in
4-Green Chromis-1/2in

and Invertebrates-Hermit Crabs & Turbo/Astrea Snail

All going into 75gal fowlr.(do not need size police now)

Will i need to qa fish from a old running tank ?(not a lfs)

And what about adding this amout of fish to a tank at one time?
 
How well do you know your friend? Does he keep a healthy tank and healthy stock? I would look very closely at each individual fish before putting them in my tank. I would at least QT them for a week. Adding them all to your 75 at once will cause an ammonia spike so that is another reason to QT them and add them at a reasonable rate. Just my opinion. It is freezing here in Dallas! :shock:

I would use a QT if for no other reason than to not add all at once to my tank. I would say you could add all the chromis at once, but the tangs 1 at a time and neither at the same time as the chromis.

I think I would add 1 tang and put the other in QT with the chromis. Then add the 2nd Tang then finally the chromis. The reason for that order is so you don't have 2 good size tangs in a small QT together yet hopefully be intro'ing the 2nd before the 1st has had a chance to establish dominance over the tank.
 
Got them home 2-Blue Hippo Tang-4/5in 4-Green Chromis-1/2in.
Got 10 gal of water from him as well with all food stufs.

The 55gal did not work out put them in a 30gal for now.

We will keep the tangs in it in tell all ok.

The chromis will go in 75gal in week or so.

Note this it what we will do as of now.
