New Aquarium Problem

I got a new tank but it has residue all over it. I tried so many things to clean. Anyone have any ideas? It is kinda stuck to the corners like this image

is it on the inside or outside? also, is it new to you but previously used, or brand new and unused? did the residue appear recently or had it been there since you got it?

just to take a guess, it looks like lime scale typical in an older used tank.if so, it can be removed with vinegar and a lot of elbow grease (scrub hard with a plastic dish scrubber). if its on the inside you would need to drain the tank to clean it, and rinse well when done.
sometimes the glass gets etched, and if that's the case there is nothing you can do (reasonably) - I'm not sure what process causes it, but i have a few older tanks that even after scrubbing with concentrated HCL the haze never lessens.

Thanks for the reply. It's on the inside. It's a used tank.
I found this article about using vinequar

But I don't see anything about elbow grease. Where can I buy elbow grease?

It's usually beside the blinker fluid ;)

Or chugga chugga repair kit

I would use dobie pad or magic eraser to see if it will come off. If it's between the glass I don't think there is anything you cab do

Elbow grease is next to the Frequency grease, which is next to the buckets of steam and the Compressed air.

The yellow Stainless steel blade would get the really stubborn stuff off, just be really careful not to scratch the glass. they sell these at Petsmart, Petco, etc
