My husband and I used to maintain our own tanks. So after our daughter was born we decided it would be easier if we combined our three tanks (215, 150, and 70 gallons) into one. After a lot of work the new tank is finally up and running. My husband still has a few things to work on like the calcium reactor, new skimmer, and motorized lighting.

The tank was built by Aquarium Obsessed. The stand and canopy was built by Scott Comstock who runs Wood Perfect, which does cabintry work. Both companies did excellent work, we couldn't be happier. We will post more pictures and details later.

Here are some pictures of the refugium, skimmer, and control panel. We put my seahorses in the refugium.

Thanks guys. I believe the dimensions are 96x32x30. I will have to double check with my husband.

Here are some more pics and info.

The tank was drilled in the back about 12" in from both sides for closed loops. The closed loop pumps are both Darts are mounted so that they are suspended about 4 feet from the floor. Here is a pic looking upwards on the right side Dart.

Each Dart returns back into the tank through 2 bulkheads located in the top euro bracing. The Darts alternate every 15 minutes.

The tank has external overflows, so it sits about 10" from the back wall. We put a black acrylic pan in the back. On the right side under the Dart sits a 30 gallon acrylic box for RO water.

Chord grips and john guest bulkheads were used to keep the RO water clean.

The Tunze osmolater ATO pump and the kalk reactor feed pump are located here.

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Anyone is welcome to come see it. Rick, I really wanted your rabbitfish.

not to mention that's a nice reef and great setup too!

ever consider how a large gigas would look great sitting right in the middle of the two reef structures??????

Wow. Really great to see it all filled and running. Although we saw it empty while moving it in, I imagine it's even more awesome than the pictures can possibly show. Congratulations.
