Well I spent a week working with Curt who now says it's just because I'm at the low end of the scale that my reading are off. I have a EB8 and a EB4 , the EB4 had low power devices like my leds for the nano and allways showed zero amps while the EB8 with my 10K main leds would show 1.0 to 1.8 amps.
So I took the EB8 off the power strip and plugged it into a port on the EB4 , and the EB4 showed .6 amps while the EB8 showed 1.2 , with all of the EB8 being drawed through the EB4 the EB4 should have ATLEAST been 1.2 amps. SO anyone else actually test the EB's ability to read current ? I can understand 10 or 20% off but to be off 200% means the reading are WAG's and not to be trusted.
