After a severe case of procrastination, I'm finally going to complete retro fit of canopy using luminarc reflectors. I've been told that the reflectors will dramatically increase the light intensity into the tank to the point that corals can be bleached, especially those mounted near the top. I do have some that are not permanently attached, that I will move toward the bottom of the tank. Am planning on weaning corals by a reduction in photo period, but would also like to use some type of material that will also help to diffuse the light intensity, so that I can wean through both shortened photo period and diffused light.
