Need some serious Joes Juice

Why don't you make your own joe juice. All you need is calcium hydroxide which is lime or pickling lime.

I have Joe's Juice its about half full, your welcome to it. Although, I just bought some peppermints from fish2morow and actually witnessed them eating aptasia....and he's closer to your location than I am.

Just PM me if you want the Joe's Juice.

What's a "true" peppermint shrimp?

I thought I got 6 for the same problem, can only find 3 or 4 anymore.

What I have don't like my aptasia.

Letting the aptasia go now (funny they aren't reproducing like crazy) in prep for a Burgia or 3.

TIA

Sometimes you will find shrimp such as camelback shrimp(Rhynchocienetes uritai) that are sometimes mismarked and sold as peppermints(Lysmata wurdemanni). Camelback's can be bad boy's in a reef tank.

Cheers!

The Banded Coral shrimp might make a meal out of them if in a smaller tank, since you have a 100G... you should be fine.
Send a pm to fish2morow since he lives in FW also..will be much cheaper than the LFS.

Cheers!

If you can't find the shrimp, I've been able to moderately control my aiptasia using vinegar. Go to a drug store and get some syringes (super cheap). Draw clear vinegar in the syringe and stick the aiptasia (preferably in the center) and slowly inject the vinegar. It will think it's getting fed until it realizes it's taking in acid and it will then draw back. You will probably have to reinject in a day or two, but they will slowly come under control.

I would love to get the shrimp myself, but I have a marine betta which I am sure will make a meal of the shrimp when I'm not lookin.
