Need Maxijet Cover

Today I tried Rick's Maxijet mod on one of my 1200s. Luckily I only did one and not both at the same time. It's way too muck flow for my tank. Does anyone have an extra cover for a Maxijet that you aren't using???
I'm assuming it doesn't matter which model since I think the covers are all the same. By cover I do mean the inlet/outlet impellar cover.

Don't they come with 2 attatchments for the cover? like one for if you have an undergravel filter tube and a different one that can use a sponge, right?

That doesn't sound like anything I've ever seen before. I think maybe you are thinking of a different part....or maybe I did a bad job of describing what I'm looking for.

It isn't too often anyone has a spare impellar cover, Charley. But those can be purchased online relatively cheaply.
 
The mod that you did was drilling holes into the cap right? If that is the case, have you tried using epoxy putty to plug the holes.

I am a long ways away, but if you want to trade your cut outlet for one for my normal one I will. Do you work in Dallas or come here often by chance?
