Found this on my foxface today. I have not noticed this before. The two spots right in the center of his body.

If he would just be still for a second it would be nice, ill try and shoot a couple more and see if any come out better.

I don't know for sure but it looks like an infection. Do you have an anenome? How long have you had him in there? I thought it could be a parasite at first but now I don't. It looks similar to a fungus infection my wrasse had.
Is it growing? How long has it been there?
 
I've had this guy for several months and no problems. The spots are getting a little better, there is really only one spot now. It does remind me of an infection. There are two long tentacle anemones in the tank and he doesn't really ovoid them so it is very possible he got a little too close. He is eating just fine and if it weren't for the spots you wouldn't know there was a problem. I am just going to watch him and see how he does.
