Need help with ID (not zoa)

This morning I saw some sort of creature moving around my nano. I was not able to get a good picture of it but I will try to explain it as good as possible. Here goes, It looks like a flat ribbon, it has gey/white spots almost like a octo. It best resembles a flat slug and move along the rocks and sand. I caught a glimse of it about 3-4 weeks ago and thought it was a snail out of it's shell. However, this morning it was inside a rock cave and I got a really good look at it. Right now it looks to be about 3-4 inches long and about an inch wide.
TIA

Funny, This is the first iv'e seen of it and my tank has been going for over a year. I have not added any new pieces of rock for 8 months or so. Should I be worried or try to remove it if I see it again?

I just lost 2 orange shell snails. The first time I saw it I thought it was the snail out of the orange shell. It was moving away from the snail into a rock. Any way to get it to show it's self?

Critters like these hitchhike on LR all the time."]

So if one were to add new LR to an existing system (or perhaps setting up a new system) would these guys die without food (ie clean up crew)?
Just wondering if there were any way to get rid of them before getting them... if that makes sense?
I'd hate to find a bunch of them in an established tank.

fxman - any luck finding it!?

No, Haven't seen it since. I just finished doing a detailed clening of my tank so maybe the stiring around might make it show it self. I know some people do a fresh water dip of there new LR to kill hitch hikers. Some one else may chime in on that.
