Need help with button polyps

These things are growing @ an explosive rate and are begining to take over. Aside from removing the rock, is there a way to kill/remove these from my tank?

Joes juice?

Can I frag in my display?

I am a firm believer of "let nature be", but these are ridiculus

Need your help,

I'd offer them up free or at a small price and just cut as many as you can. Joes will work on them, but for something that size you'll be better of $$ wise if you use kalk paste. You want to do a small section at a time however... You can also remove the rock and set it out in the sun for a week or so then scrub it down really well before putting back into your tank. It will remove any LR aspects from it, but it will reseed in good order once its back in.

I'm not sure exactly where you are located, but I will be going to McKenny and Frisco tomorrow evening 4:30pm-7 or 8pm... to pick up frags. If you are on the way from Grand Prairie to these places, I'd be willing to come by in the afternoon or later evening and help you frag them up for sale or dontation to the coop, would not mind some myself.

The area circled in red was a frag of neon grean zoo's, with about 6 of these polyps mixed in. I thought it was cute until the polyps chocked out the zoo's and began to spread - like a weed. It may take some time to get the frag out because I'm pretty sure its intertwined to the other rock now. But I would be more than happy to donate it when I do. The area not in red is a very large base rock that I do not wish to remove (I would have to tear my aquascape apart to get it out) these may be a lose, unless someone knows of another way.

lacybiker2000 - I live in Carrollton, close to Josey and Beltline. You are more than welcome to come and see what you think.. Up to you

I have some of these also, tried to sell a bunch off but no takers...now I know why. I have been injecting them with kalk paste, but they are quite prolific.

Cheers,

There are a pain to get rid of. They started crowding out some nice zoas I had, so they had to go. Needless to say they are still popping up in my tank. Consider the placement of your new frag carefully.

Nice meeting you too.... Lacybiker2000

As Pineappleface said "Consider the placement of your new frag carefully."
