Need help with aquascaping

[I am in need of someone who is really good at aquascaping. I have done it a few times but am never satisfied. I will pay someone or give you a frogspawn frag if anyone is interested. The only problem is I am out in Denton. For your information I have a 75 gallon DAS tank with about 100 pounds of rock.]

[Lonnie, are you married? (And assuming you are a man.... ) ask your wife or girlfriend to help. Women seem to have a knack at aquascaping.

If you have to do it yourself, try to avoid straight lines because in nature, you'll never find a straight line. Look to keep things irregular, random, varied.... If you try to do this, I think you'll be satisfied.]

[Best advice I can give is to keep things open and airy, the last thing you want is a wall of rock, without enough flow through your rock work it will harbor nutrients.]

[Lonnie, I think we have all been there at one time or another. It took me numerous tries and about three weeks to get mine where I kind of like it. I still sit and watch the tank and think about how would it look if I moved this over here. Before you know it I am up to my armpits in the tank moving rock around.

Good luck and stick with it, you will get there. When you do it is time to start thinking about a bigger tank! :D]

[Create a basic idea of how you want the rocks to look and work from there. Look at other aquascape's and figure out before how tall and how wide you want the rocks. Here are some examples:

A lagoon with calm inner waters

Two seamounts with high-current between.

And the last one I don't prefer...

[Maybe take some pictures, and people here can make suggestions for improvement?

You won't get them from me though, because I suck at aquascaping...I need to redo mine, it's ugly and unstable. Ughh! I need help too!!!
