need fan suggestion

I would like to try to put a fan or fans in my sump to cool down the tank that are a bit quieter than the regular size fan I'm using on a bookshelf across from the tank. I was looking at the Coralvue or Icecap variable speed fans or the Azoo Clip on fans. Since I don't have a canopy I can't install the icecap or coralvue and would have to come up with some kind of mount, maybe something acrylic like on Marc's website. Any ideas? What do you guys use for a sump application?

i heard only good things about icecap fans...i think they have a good warranty on them too. might want to look into that also.

Marc made me a couple of fan brackets when he did my sump and suggested I go to Frys and get 3" computer fans. They are quiet and cheap.

yeah I already have some eggcrate over my fuge. So that works well for you? Are you using the radio shack/fry's computer fans or ice cap, pfo, etc.? Do you have them pointed straight down or horizontal along the surface?

I have a unique setup as the left side of my stand is right next to a floor vent for our AC. I generally draw in cooler air from a slot I have built into my stand and blow it into the stand cavity. The makeshift thermal control I have on the fans tends to keep it around 75 degrees.

What do you guys think of these fans from RadioShack?

They're rated for 78 CFM, with minimal draw (6V, 0.38 amps). When I plugged it to an adapter though, it didn't seem like much air movement. Maybe I'm just too used running big 8'' desk fans.
