Need and idealist! - Mh ballas enclosure

[Ok...let's have em.....I need suggestions for a diy ballast enclosure

I have heard/thought of using things such as...mailboxes, electrical boxes(which are too small) and a few other choices...but what I want is something that isn't goddy and doesn't look to bad...

I even thought about a computer power supply enclosure...but when I tried it...everything seemed too close togeather....the only plus side to this idea, is it would have a built in fan(which would need a 12v power supply) and a detachable power plug...

So, Let me hear what u have used...or thought of... :very angry:]
 
[By aluminum angled pieces, and create a box. Buy some acrylic or aluminum plating and enclose the framework. You can rivet most of it, and screw it where you need access.

Adding fans would be simple enough, as well as powercords and switches.]
 
[I ended up building a wooden rack and mounting them in the attic as bare ballasts...I got sick of looking for one to house my 400w.]
 
[I thought about using a metal tool box, the type with a flip up lid. I think I like Marcs idea better though.]
