Need advise for my 20g Long minireef project

I am taking this tank with me to the waco VA Hospital for Chronic Post Traumatic Stress Disorder(I spent 13 months in sustained combat in Iraq).

What I have right now, is a pourover marine life biowheel filter I had laying around the house, A 75W heater, 2X65w CP flourescents. Right now it's home to a bubble tip, 2 damsels, a neon goby, a lawnmower blenny, and several sun coral frags, as well as the main colony. What I want is a nice mini reef tank to watch when I can't sleep at night, or when I need to "get away from myself" I have zoa's and birds nest, and encrusting star polyps, mushrooms, and a montipora that I want to add when I get setttled in, as well as a 4wheel drive, and maybe a coral copperbanded shrimp. The lighting seems to be up to par since it's only about 12" deep. But I want to make absolutely sure that protien skimming and proper current and filtering is up to par. I was thinking of getting a skilter 250 and a hang on refugium. Any other thoughts or ideas/tips. This is my first reef tank under 55g.

I have purchased this today, I believe I have the lighting squared away, 1 65w 50/50 and 1 65w 420n/450n acinic, i have a biowheel pour over for now, but I'm still interested in a hang on fuge. what size should I get, should I have one made? Not going to the residential treatment facility till monday now so I have a few days to figure something out!
