nautilus ex protein skimmer, confused

i have a 24 inch nautilus protein skimmer, i have a rio 2500 pump that pushes 700 gph, thats whats recomende, i get no micro bubbles and it just over flows the skimmer soon as you turn it on, does it need a special pump, its a venturi so i dont think it needs air from the pump, any suggestions

i respnoded in the open forum
check your intake valve to the pump
its a eductor thinngy that chops your water into microbubles
that is where you need to look first

Do yourself a favor and get a quiet one 3000 or Mag 7
