My Wish list and plan moving foward.. PLEASE ADVISE

My Wish List and kinda my direction and plan
First I would like to say that I want the inverts first… then some additional fish..
Also I have a 80 Gal with about 120 Live Rock and assorted Corals… ( want more corals too but I am going to wait to see how these do…..

I am going to Canada on Thursday and not getting back until next Friday… a full 8 days
When I get back I plan on looking for a group buy or just finding some where cheap I can order from.. I priced these at the LFS but I do not want to chop off the arm to get them.. If any one has any of these they are willing to part with or want the two free damsels let me know and we can get together when I get back..

I figure I would post this and see what the feedback was for my plan from the experienced ones… make sure I am on track or if I have missed something and have a bad mix some where,,,

Stars
1.) Brittle - 1
2.) Serpent –1 or several different kinds
3.) Harlequin –1
4.) Red Star

Blue recordia

Damsels right now got 2 yellow tail and a blue .. one domino and a yellow
I will get rid of the damsel to the LSF or free if I need to … I like the blues but could live without the other 2

I also have a spotted mandarin which my 2 year old has named froggy and my 7 year old insist is called spots. He is fatter then he is long almost.. but he is cool!

I have assorted snails, and hermits, and about 5 emarald crabs,,
I had one cleaner but I am still trying to find him.. starting to wonder if he has made it to the sump..

I'd not have more than 3 stars in an 80, unless you plan on target feeding them on a regular basis.

Historically, these don't do well for very long in our tanks. We can't give them enough food and maintain water quality.

Do you have a DSB? If so, then I'd recommend a small tiger tail or donkey dung cucumber.

Waaay too many. One small one would be plenty, and it still may starve depending on the amount of food. Look into an aquacultured queen conch as they are very small and you know how old they are.

Horse shoe crabs are terrible about tearing up your sand and knocking over frags.

I'd scale that back to 1 cleaner and 3 peppermint, due to the size of your tank.

Expect to lose a few frags to this guy. They're cool, but they can be somewhat destructive. Personally, I wouldn't mind, but I know some do.

People seem to have mixed results with these guys. Starve or eat corals, it seems. (No personal experience with em, just relating what I've heard.)

Too many blennies / dragonets. They all will eat pods, and the slowest eater (or two) will starve. If you're very lucky, they might eat frozen, but even then you may end up having to target feed. Also, make sure your rocks are down on the glass if you're going to have a digging fish like the jaw fish- you don't want him to get crushed, nor do you want a rock tumbling into the glass.

Is it eating frozen? (See above)

Perfect this is exactly what I need to know..

The spotted mandarin seems to be eating off the rock.. although I can not see what he is eating I am hoping it is the pods..

I think I have a DSB I have about 5 inches.. I have all my rock setting on PVC .. I put in the PVC then some sand , next I put in the rocks and then I added more sand... I was worried about the rocks hitting the glass to...

the reason for the Fighting couch and the horse crabs is to stir up the sand bed...

no pencil urchins or decorators... do not want anything to eat my corals

and you cleared my fish list off some..

This is good info... I do not want to spend money just to regret it and I knew when you start combining fish in my size you have to be careful....

Thanks for the advise.. i will have to edit my list a little now ...

The horse shoe crab will not stir up your sand bed in a good way. Don't get them.
