I'm happy with it so far, I have added quite a bit more and had more great growth. I will update pictures this weekend.

Oh and I just paid for my membership, do I need to do anything to activate it to make it go from "guest" to "member" ? just want to make sure I didn't miss something. I no reed so good [smilie=clapping.gif]

Good looking cube, nice LED's as well.

As far as your membership, Marc will transfer it over when he gets time. Be patient...

Thanks!

And its is a female Leopard wrasse (meleagris) but it maybe changing into a male (if possible?) she/it has a lot more blue than she used to. They are hard to get to feed on prepared food but I have had amazing success/luck.

Thanks. Well She or He is a beautiful fish. I am glad you have had success and hope you continue to also. If you have a close up of the fish do you mind posting it? I would love to add it to my photo album wish list.

Great looking tank. Ya'll are pushing me into getting some LEDs! Wish they would have been so easy assessable when I had my BC29!

Do you keep your light dimmed and what is your ratio o blue to white?

I do not keep it dimmed(should have, I lost quite a few corals when first installed) But now I just start every coral on the sand and 7hr light cycle for a week then step it up slowly. and I have 11 blue, 9 white and 2 red. I think the red LEDs help with colors. I wish I had a slightly more blue look to my tank but the red LEDs make the colors pop so nicely. Id say my tank in person is 14k.

i was thinking about using an LED setup sim. to yours... sorry to hear about the corals that were lost! I'm interested in knowing besides have more blues how is the lighting doing now? Wondering if you ever thought of checking out the light meter and seeing what these LED's are actually putting out at the sand bed? Good Luck...I'm cycling my bc29 with stock lighting for the moment and might keep with softies until i get a little success under my belt.

Well I did a TERRIBLE job keeping up with this thread....

Sorry. Corals have stated to out grown the tank and I have a small SPS war going on.... new tank is in the works. My clowns have a BTA now, only one hosts it. The male clown gets pretty annoyed every night when his mate is no longer in their normal sleeping spot (in the corner on the sand). Stupid fish. ;)

I didn't want you to host...(He is living in here because the fish in my 6ft tank would murder him)

And I added a cleaner shrimp, the little asshole is killing my now largeish derasa clam! he picks at the mantle and eats it nightly. I have tried killin/removing the little asshole already but he is too fast. Clam is still alive just torn up...

hey ahl try putting flake food on top of the water, the shrimp will go after it while it is floating, then just net him real quick

Are you sure it's not a camel shrimp??? Sound's odd for a cleaner shrimp and I have seen shrimp mis-marked ton's. Cheers said:
yeah its a skunk cleaner.
