MY FUGE NEED TRIMMING HOW DO I TRIM IT

I set my fuge up a few months ago and now it needs pruned or thinned or? I have feather and grape caleurpa and??? also have chaeto. The Caleurpa is the stuf that really needs pruned. How do I do it? I don't want to mess up and have big problems. I would like to do it tomorrow. Also there is a lot and I would be happy to share.

It's best to try to pull up whole strings, according to some authors. Personally, I just tear, but I thin caulerpa, leaving every other stalk alone, unless it's growing where I don't want it to (like crawling up the wall of the fuge.)

It's a stress releif thing, better then kicking the dog.

I have heard what Ashlar is refering to withthe caleupera. I have mostly cheato in my fuge so I tear away. I'll also rough it up and roll it around some.

Make sure you either give away or dispose of properly. Freezing before throwing away will make sure it doesn't make it into waterways at all. (Sounds far-fetched but better safe than sorry)

I like the rip apart method..
i supose it depends on how it is placed in your fuge..

some grow it out of the sand i think I am going that method next... .

I have to trim mine too.. Will be doing it during my upgrade on Saturday..

I have a mixture too..
