my first light panel

Hello guys,
I want to keep the corals. I have never tried but I’ll risk. Now I want to prepare the equipment and major accessories for my tank. Can you please, give advise for a beginner to find the proper light panel for my future aquarium? I'm going to buy 90 gallon tank.
thanks

What is your budget? MH works good but cost a lot to run and heats up tank. T5 is good but bulbs get expensive. LEDs work but you get a slight color change in some corals. I like LEDs for the colors they give off with blues on.

I want to find something within $50. Maybe I will research offers at Christmas sales.
What are right lamps for T5 fixture? I have it at home https://www.mrosupply.com/lighting/ballasts/fluorescent-ballasts/1854545_flft513w841_fulham-lighting/ Can I apply it for keeping corals?

With a $50 budget you may never find a light good enough for anything other than soft corals like mushrooms. For a $90 gallon you will need a good 4-8 bulb T5. Even if you get a fixture for free or make one, bulbs will cost about $100 for the right colors. Then every 9-12 months you will want to replace them. Sometimes people will give away there old bulbs. You could still use them and that would allow you to grow some corals but light spectrum is already faded with used bulbs. Same issue with MH bulbs and fixture. LEDs last about 7-10+ years but cost more upfront. You may want to stop into a few stores around the DFW and ask about a used fixture. A lot of stores have a good selection of used equipment. Could get lucky and find a nice fixture with decent bulbs for about $100
