My Clams?

My two clams I have just don't open up to their full potential. Could it maybe be from fish swomming over them or something. BTW, the're Crocea's. Any ideas, LMK, thanks.

2 175w MH's w/ 2 96w actinics, plenty of lighting.

Croceas are rock dwellers. Move them out of your sand and up into the rockwork, and check for pyramid snails. They live in sand and can wipe out clams in a matter of days.

All 8 of my claims are on the bottom in the sand and they open all the way up! They are huge!

I run 2 X 250 MH and 5 - T5's there is nothing closed in this tank!

Good luck on getting them to open up! Are you feeding them?

Some people put them in the rocks I never have!
