Ok, I settled on the style I want for my new tank rock work. Me and my wife along with her dad came up with this design.

its hard to see but there are some holes in there for the fish to swim through :)
 
I like the 2 island idea. I have been looking at aquascaping for my new 210 I'm setting up and will be using PVC to create a really cool aquascape. The only suggestion I would have is to make sure that it is very stable. I have heard that snails can sometimes move rock (never happened to me though).
 
Did you first put in your substrate and then stack your rock on top of it? IF yes. this could cause problems in the future, especially if you add critters that will burrow in substrate (gobies, shrimp, etc...), or your water flow could erode the substrate from under your rocks. Either way, it can cause a major collapse.

There is egg crate under the rock to stop this from happening :)
