It consist of a small sheet of 1/8" thick lexan
Heat gun or torch (we used a heat gun)
And a drill with drill bit 1/2"

We took and put a block on top of the lexan to bend the first 90' bend and then did the same on the next 90' bend to get the clip to hold on to the top of the aquarium then measured out how deep we wanted the frags to set once we did that we put the block on top of the pedantic and started heating evenly and bending. Keep in mind this is our first one it holds 12 frags and wasn't hard at all we might be making more in the future for friends and stuff but they are not a big eye sore and work great. I hope you enjoy and give me your feed back we are thinking of doing magnetic ones as well and ones that will hang on back wall in biocube with closed hood.

yes it would this took about 30min-1hr to make. it was very easy and prep time was nothing. hopefully practice makes perfect so we can get this in different designs... the biocube one we will probably do next for my brother because i think in a tank like i biocube it would look nice on the back and not take up any glass for viewing..

If it has a slight tilt to it you can use a small piece of acrylic rod to push the bottom of the rack away from the tank glass. I've noticed algae will tend to build up behind racks like this if there is little or no flow. Definately a good alternative to mag racks.
