How did you manage to drill a hole in there. I thought for sure the glass would shatter. Is there a "dremel trick" I don't know about? I've thought of doing the same thing as you just did for a while now but thought I couldn't drill them.
Cory, I too used the Top Fin 10gal for my refugium and it is a breeze to drill. The only problem was when I tightened the bulkhead it made a small hairline crack that silicone sealed up real nice lol.
Oh, I use 1/2 also and It has trouble draining (Its a very slow drain)... I might go back and bump it up to 1" so I can bump up the flow. Watch out for that because it will overflow depending on your intake.
