I took down my Nano 6g and put it all into my new 30G. Here are some pics. I have a 150W MH 10k and 64W PC atenic. I was suprised how well the Fugi LR from my nano mixed with the Tonga Branch. All the live stock in here was from the nano, except the Tonga Branch LR and some Hermits and snails. As you can tell the nano was out of room.
 
Can some oen tell me what these are? It start out as a little white thing that i thought was getting bigger then one day it opened up now there is three.
 
Steve, are you using a retail lighting system? If so, curious how you have it setup. I bought the Outer Orbit 36" hqi hood for my 30L and didn't measure anything. Got it in and realized it was too wide so I couldn't use the included feet. Looks like I'm going to have to hang it from the ceiling unless I can come up with something else.
 
No I bought a DIY MH used off the board. Hanging from the ceiling was not an option for me. I do not like the look. I am going to build a canopy for it soon but right now I just have it rigged with 2X4. Here is a pic. The foil is there not as a reflector I know it is a poor reflector but there to stop me from getting blinded when I am looking at the tank. The top tier is the MH and the bottom the PC. It is ugly but works till I get the canopy built.
 
I'm getting blinded just looking at the picture! :lol:
 
Yea the foil is usally folded up to block the light I took it down for the picture. When I get a round to it i am going to make a nice matching canopy to enclose it all. O yea i still have a 105G RR tank wanting to be turned in to a reef. But if you don't have projects lined up life would be boring right? :lol:
