Hello all! My name is AL i recently moved from florida in January with my hobby in hand heh 23 hr drive [smilie=sadsmile.gif].. I set up my 120 but had to let my live stock chill in a rubber made with a viper clamp 70W MH and power heads for a month as you can imagine lost some stuff other stuff started RTN'ing was very nervous but really couldnt drop corals into a new tank.. so one month later the tank was ready just in time some of my more prized corals were starting to show even more signs of stress..

ok so system specs tank been running since febuary
120 AGA RR dual overflow
30 AGA Sump
Mag 12 return Pump , with 2x #3 K's , 1x #4 k

Salinity 1.024
mag -1350
Phosphates -0.3

Lighting
Outer Oribit Fixture - 2x 250 MH HQI 14k Phoenix's / w 4x Blue+ ATI Bulbs T-5's

dosing
10ML iodine Weekly
Kalk +2 slow drip method

I have done DSB , BB and SSB currently i have SSB found it to agree with me and my corals more dont have to feed as much like you do with BB tanks to keep the color in SPS

Here Is a little update on my 120 as of late been trying some diff methods.. think I like doing Vinegar cause I drink the Vodka [smilie=wink.gif] /GFO/Carbon the best..
Recently changed my lighting had to gut my outer orbit fixture, cause one of the T5 ballast burned out and started leaking black goup!!
so bought spider reflectors from Dwashington.. and changed bulbs to 15K XM dont know if I like these yet miss my 14k pheonix bulbs anyways tank is now 6 months old all my fish are shy it seems in the pics as they are nowhere to be seen

was doing a small water change decided to take a couple shots would post mor ebut camera phone sucks when taking picture against glare from lights [smilie=smirk.gif] need to invest in a real camera what people using for best shots nowadays?

this is by far my most favorite piece thought about getting ORA soli dont know if I like it yet havnt seen one grown out

Thanks if your referring to the coral above its a Soli basically a tabling coral I purchase from WWC as a 1" frag I have had it now 2 years
