Mushrooms & super glue?

So I want to move some mushroom from one live rock to another. They are quite massive there about two inches wide when fully opened. SO do I just cut at the end of the stalk and just find a new spot and super glue while in the water. To me this sounds toxic!

Mushrooms are too slimy to be glued down. I typically use a plastic mesh like you'd find on a bag of onions to hold them down until they attach. Just place the shroom on a rock, cover with the mesh and hold the whole lot down with a rubber band.

Keep in mind that there is a good chance that they will grow back if you just cut the foot.

Oh no, I want them to grow back. I want them all over my tank and not just in one spot!
SO just snip near the bottom and move where ever I want and wait for him to attach!?
Thanks!

If you can, pull the rock out of the tank and then just slice a piece of the m'room off (assuming you want to keep the bulk of it where it is now, otherwise cut most of it off and where you leave a little attached to the big rock, a whole one will grow back). Take the cut piece and put it in a little plastic cup with some large gravel in the bottom, cover the cup with some netting (a piece of bridal veil lace works very well) and rubber band it around the top of the cup. Set the cup in the tank and after a few days, the mushroom will grab onto some of the rubble. Then, glue the rubble to the new rock in the reef.
