Multiple Phosban Reactor Chain

So there was a couple issues I had. The tank is going to be roughly 800G total so I needed at least 3 phosban reactors going. Since the flow is so slow for them I figured I could daisy chain a bunch together. That however would cause an issue since the first reactor media would be used up fastest, etc so I had to figure a way to run them in parallel. It would have been easy enough to get a bunch of 1/2" soft piping and 1/2" T's and done it that way but the major problem was the sides of my sump are to wide for the reactor hanger. I had to do more then widen thaough as they need to be fairly level to work properly. So a few Lowe's trips and an afternoon later here is what I came up with!

The ball valves are strictly to keep water from circulating through the support parts. Here are some other angles.

I like it to. It should be interesting to see how the PVC holds up when those are full of water. They look empty to me at the moment. I've also considered making a manifold to connect all three reactors to one pump in my sump.

Ya I've been running water through them for 2 days now with no issues so I think I'm good. I actually put a small amount of Phoban in 2 of them last night as the curing troughs were showing .01 or so of phosphate. I figured I should test them out! Rick didn't you mention something about replacing the top spionge with a denser one? What did you use?

Marc the design would be super simple if the reactors can hang on the sump or sit on the ground. Just input to a 1/2" T with the bottom of the T running through the ball valve and to the reactor then run the other side of the T to another T and do the same for however many you want and put a 90 elbow on the last one instead of a T. Should be super simple since the ball valves come with the reactor you don't have to worry about that part of it.

Keith I just buy those blocks of Fluval sponges( I think that is the name) or some brand like that. They come in different sizes. Then with a pair of sissors and using the sponge that came with them, I roughly cut out another round one. I doesn't have to look perfect as long as it is tight around the outside walls of the reactor.
