Mp10 compatibility

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone have had any trouble with magnetic suction of Mp10 powerhead with a thick oceanic tank. Specs said it's good for 3/8" thickness, but my oceanic tank has 1/2" think glass...thanks

You do know that 3/8" is thinner than 1/2"? so your tank is exceeding the max allowable thickness the MP10 is rated for.
 
Yes sir, I realize that 1/2 is thicker than 3/8, but just seeing if anyone tried it anyways and if it worked for them...

i had it on my tank... the only way i could get it to stick was to take the rubber bushing out and add some kind of adhesive to keep it in place up to you if you want to go that far but i ended up going with tunzes
 
Thanks Thinh, mp40 was too much $$ for my needs, so, I went with a Jebao WP40 and very impressed with it so far...
