Ok I am moving my nano right now..... phewww jst taking a break. who knew a 12g would be so hard to move. got all my babies in a 5 gal tank right now.....

My inhabitatans list:
- Orange zoos
- Condy anemone
- frogspawn
- xenia
- green shrooms
- bird's nest
- 2 clarkii's
- pajama cardinal
- 14 astrea snails
- feather duster

My only mods are a rotating flow nozzle and swapped the stock pump to a maxijet. Also I changed the blue LED's in the canopy to UV purple. the only thing in my 3 chambers are 1- heater, thermometer. 2- sponge(cleaned eevery week). and 3 the maxijet. I will soon make 1,2 into a bio filter by adding chaeto and light.

Well after many moths and a succes with my nano I decided to tear it down. I believe I had an extremely healthy system but, I dont wanna risk loosing all my precious fish and corals to a power outage.... I love nano's but one power outage can wipe out even the most healthy tank... moving to a 75g.......

would it be the water flow shut off of the light being out that would kill a system so quickly? I would think a good battery backup with the lights off would run the pump for awhile.

Yup it would be mostly water flow. The inhabitants could take the oxygen out of the water rather quickly. ANY size tank can be killed with a power outtage. He'll need a UPS for the new tank as well. I need another too.
