Moving an RTBA

My RTBA just split and I would like to move Junior to a different tank. My experience with anemones is limited. First, they are both attached to the same large rock, so how do I get one of them off without damaging one or both of them. Second, they are under PC lighting now and the other tank has 3 ? 250 watt MH lights. Do I need to do any sort of acclimation to the new lighting? If so, how?

May have to wait it out 'til it moves on to a surface that will allow you to remove. Hopefully, that would be the glass. When you can get to it, just do a slow drip acclimation. Good thing about clones, they are hardier then a wild harvested anemone, so it should adjust quickly to the new tank. Once acclimated, just place it on the lower part of the new tank. It will move to whatever place it decides has the best lighting and water movement. It may move a few times, so hopefully you don't have many corals that may be at risk while it settles in. RBTA's like to anchor their foot into a crevice on your live rock.
