Moved tank and got a CHIP, now what?

Hi, finally found my 75 gallon tank and got it home and now it has a chip in it. It is on the seam, outside, but not deep to the silicone and pretty high up on the tank. It will probably be fine, and I will test it out and see if it will crack........

Would anyone know if I can get a poxy like they use on windshields to strengthen it, if that would even "strengthen it" or better left alone, or what do you think?

thanks!
Patti

if it's just a shave / chip of the corner of the glass it most likely wasn't load bearing or integral to the strength of the seam.

The only issue is, depending on how it got chipped, the tank may have shifted enough to stress the seam.

I wouldn't think it would be an issue. I chipped the top edge of the back of my tank by dropping a screwdrive handle on it. It was a small 1/3" size glass shaving. No major damage.
