More MH or supplemental T5?

My new setup is a 24 x 24 x 16 cube. Mostly softies and LPS. Currently running a 150W 14K MH pendant. The corals are just getting by ok, not growing. I am thinking about adding another 150W MH or add two strips of 2 x 24w T5 HO (total 96W). The reason of considering the T5 is the temp. issue.

Which combo is better in your opinion?

2 x 150w 14K MH or

1 x 150W 14K MH plus 2 x 48W T5 HO
 
What bulbs are you running and what are your parameters of you tank.

Lighting flow and stability are factors needed for corals to grow.

For example phosphates precipitates ca and Mg which slows the growth of lps and sps corals
