More lights?

The setup I purchased recently has 2- 24 6000k actinic bulbs. When I saw this setup in working order, I thought it could use more light. For a FOWLR tank would it be ok to add two more of the same lights, or would it be better in the long run to just get something else?
 
You can have as little light or as much light as you want on a FOWL tank. A lot of people use VHO's said:
Matt is right... you can use different lighting on a FOWLR tank. One thing to keep in mind... you might want to invest in lights that can also handle a reef tank ( I know you are probably going.. naaaa... I don't want to do a reef tank)... I know I said that when I changed from doing FW to SW I told myself that I was only gonna do a Fish only tank.... now I have both a FOWLR and a Reef tank.... :lol:

There are different sites out on the web that you can order from that are reasonably priced compared to LFS's...I don't like to boast one website over another.. but if you want some links to different sites that I use... PM me and I will forward them to you.
