Moon Light Question

While digging around in a closet I found about 10 old clip-on LED lights. I don't know the wattage or anything like that. I guess my question is is there a specific kind of LED light that you want for the moonlight? Or would any LED light work? TIA
Mike

Hrmm.. as long as it looks decent, I don't thing the exact wavelength would make a great deal of difference (assuming they're blue, not red). You might want to hook one up and see how hot it gets, though.

The first moonlights I had were white. I now have the blue, and like them better. I think it is just a matter of preference.

As long as the fish and corals know it's night.. ie, it's not so bright that everybody stays awake.. hehe.

re temperature: I've had some LEDs, battery operated, that must've been really inefficient, because they got hot enough to burn. It's a wonder the plastic didn't melt.
