modifying frag plugs

okay, i have many frags i am going to be mounting in a month or two ... does anyone have an easy way to break the plug portion off of the frag plugs that are so common ... in other words, i need to keep the disc with coral intact, but, break off the part that goes into the frag rack so i can more easily mount the frag?? thanks.

I use my coral cutters & just snip them off. You can use wire pliers also.

What kind of frags & will you be selling some of them ? If so maybe we can come your way.
 
I typically use some larger wire snips/cutters. Be careful, if the frag is not encrusted it can easily pop off.
 
thanks everyone for the tips ... i don't plan on selling anything right now, but, i may have some sps pieces for sale depending on how much space i have ... thanks.
