I've noticed a re-balancing of the qt tank in my office since I replaced the bulb. I'm currently going through a 'brown' phase. Looks like radiophytes or chrysophates

Got some under the scope, they have some kind of flagella (I could see it via the eyepiece, but the camera didn't have the resolution to catch them.) They're quite motile, which made getting a good capture quite difficult.

Awesome, what are you using to adapt you camera to your microscope? I'm in the market for such a device.

It's a microscope with camera from Hobby Lobby.

$100 bucks.

Same one I used in the March presentation - I used it to display the rotifers and brine shrimp.

That's what I thought Frank. It looks good. I did pick up the Reichart that I was telling you about 2 meetings ago and I love it but that one at Hobbly Lobby is a really good deal.
