I tried doin a search on the forum for a link but could not find one. Does anyone have a good link to a how to ? It looks pretty straight forward on how to do it. Got a new impeller on the way and wanted to try it on the old one. Any feedback would be appreciated.
 
Recently did the mesh mod on my octopus skimmer. Seemed to help a lot but was not bad ass or anything. look up ASM, Octopus skimmer, or MSX on reefcentral and you will find some good how to's with pics.

It would help if you could give us the skimmer model/pump.
