My husband, Taliesin (Jerry) and I just joined DFWMAS last night. How long does it take to show up here as members and to receive our cards?

LOL - patience in this hobby is a MUST! It usually takes one day, until I log on again. And you are "done."

The form for the cards says 30 days for cards, and it used to be that way. I do them every two weeks, about....and I just did them yesterday. Your cards will be at the next meeting, April 12th.
 
LOL yeah I'm having to learn patience. I have a very demanding job and sometimes I forget I'm not at work but at home relaxing. My husband and I are planning to attend the next meeting on April 12. We are looking forward to meeting everyone.

I have a 55gallon FW tank (soon to be a sump/refugium)
75 gallon SW tank (getting ready to be a reef tank)
100 gallon SW FOWLR
and a 200 gallon SW FOWLR (setting up now)

I am new to this hobby and have been picking up equipment as I can afford it. Just bought, today, a mag 9 pump, 200gallon bucket of salt mix, 40lbs of live sand to go in the refugium under my 200 gallon tank. I still need a wave maker and lights, but hopefully will have them soon. That should complete what I need for the 200 gallon. Once that's done I'll be saving to set up the 75gallon reef tank.

I will be at the meeting April 12 and am hoping to pick up a lot of information.
