Anyone ever have any issues with this fish and keeping cleaner shrimps or fire shrimps in the same tank?
 
he never bothered my cleaner shrimp, but did harass my snails from time to time. Id probably get another one. Good looking and active fish.
 
I have this wrasse. He doesn't bother anyone except really small feather dusters. Like coco feather dusters. he decimated mine after 5 minutes of putting it in the tank. Sometimes he picks at snails, but very rarely.
 
I have one.. I almost decided to remove him when i upgraded ... he messes with my snails.... and the snail eggs,,, but i decided he was to pretty....
Does not mess with my cleaner or peppermint shrimp..

I started feeding him twice a day and it seems to help... weird.. him and the yellow tang are like a mated pair.. seem to always be swimming together.. he even eats off the alga clip..
 
I think that most fish will leave the CUC, shrimps, and most coral alone as long as they are well fed. Now there are some that are just destructive but it think that is a semi-common reef wrasse.
 
Awesome. Thanks all. I need something to kill these tiny starfish that are all over my zoas. I am hoping this will help until I can find a harlequin shrimp.
 
I've noticed some empty snail shells and a couple of dead crabs as well. But my starfish problem has improved dramatically
