Medicine of choice for Pop-Eye ?

My male clarkii has developed pop-eye, I believe its from aggression from the female. I have had him for almost 2 years, and no new additions since the last year. I started to notice it on friday - it is @ day six now, and it is only with one eye and is clear. I have read from the board, that as long as it stays clear - its a wait and see if it improves on its own.

What is the time frame on which I should see improvement?
If it becomes cloudy, what is the medicine of choice?

I do have a hospital tank that has been setup for about a year now.. The only thing that has changed on my tank is I have used Kent salt since day one, and did a 20 gallon change (on a 100 gallon system) with Rea Sea pro, one week before he develop this. Don't know if that caused the problem, but needed to be mentioned. All other fish and coral are fine.

TIA,

My Clarki got popeye a few days after being introduced in the tank. It cleared up in about 2 weeks. I just watched to make sure it didn't cloud up.

You might want to just keep an eye on it. gl

Epsom salts are a good reef safe way that will help with the swelling of popeye. I've only had to deal with it one time when i moved my 20G from Dallas to Atlanta. Epsom salts is not a cure all and it will take a few weeks to get better but feeding well and maintaining pristine water quality should help them pull throuhg!
